Nils Bergendal, artist with photography as his main interest, has long been interested in 3D visualization. Stereo images taken from aircraft are an important way to gather information for natural geographers, ecosystem scientists and geologists.
If you combine this, the result is an exhibition with some of Nils' images in the foyer of Geocentrum II, where the subjects Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science and Geology are offered. Starting Monday, March 16th, five of Nils' homemade stereoscopes containing geometric figures will be set up for anyone interested.
Nils has previously had an exhibition including on Max IV with his documentation from the closure of the Zoological Museum in Lund where some similar three-dimensional images were also included. More information about the stereoscope and vision will be available at the exhibition.
You are warmly invited to come by and see these stereo images for yourself.
