Dynamical Meteorology, I
This course, in conjunction with its Part II in the Autumn, will give you an introduction to the theoretical background of atmosphere dynamics. This Part I will give you an introduction to mathematical equations which can describe large scale movements in the atmosphere.
Focus is given to the physical laws of atmospheric motions, such as those relating to rotation and to thermodynamics. At the end of the course, you will be able to understand the impact of different processes in the atmosphere.
Teaching will be in form of lectures, group work and seminars.
