Scholarly publishing at Lund University and support from the library organisation
Lunds University Library and the library network at Lund University offer support and guidance in publishing matters, with a focus on open access and open science guidelines both internally and externally. One aspect of this support includes the management of funds to support researchers affiliated with Lund University in open access publishing. In this seminar, Magnus Annemark will present the conditions of this publishing support and facilitate a discussion on the topic.
Lund University Library and the network of faculty libraries at Lund University offer support and guidance in publishing matters. Much of this work is centred around open access and open science, which is in keeping with policies at Lund University and elsewhere (government, funders, etc.).
Managing of certain funds to support Lund University-affiliated researchers in open access publishing is a component of this support: since many years back we have managed funding to publish in fully open access journals; more recently the introduction of nationwide transformative agreements (also called “read & publish” agreements).
In this seminar, Magnus Annemark, who is a librarian, will present the conditions of our publishing support, hopefully leading up to a discussion with a starting point in your concerns on the subject as researchers at Lund University.
