Anonymised exams

The department offers anonymised exams with online pre-registration. Students that fail to register online may still attend the exam, but are not guaranteed an anonymised exam. The procedure applies to all exam events, including first, second and third attempts. The registration is done through the Student Portal, accessed using your StiL account credentials.

By registering online you will be assigned a coded exam identifier.

  • This code will be given to you from the invigilator (exam monitoring staff) on arrival at the exam.
  • You have to write the coded exam identifier on each page of the exam that you hand in.

By registering online for the exam, your exam will be graded anonymised by the teaching staff that does not have access to a translation key between the coded exam identifier and persons that attended the exam. Once the exam has been graded a translation key will be used to assign the grade to you. Naturally there is a limited possibility that the teacher may be able to recognise a student’s handwriting particularly on courses with very few students. To register to an exam, please log on to the Student Portal, using your StiL account credentials and follow the provided instructions under “EXAM”.

Should your registration not work, please contact Eva or Yvonne at our student expedition.
