As a research engineer, my time is divided between helping researchers with their projects, teaching and my own research.
My research is focused on measurements of the exchange of greenhouse gases (GHG) between the biosphere and the atmosphere, and on how this exchange is affected by both natural (e.g. storms and droughts) and anthropogenic (e.g. forest management and wetland restoration) disturbances. I do direct measurements of GHGs, using micrometeorological methods and chambers, in different types of forest and wetlands in the southern half of Sweden.
