We train students to become experts in climate, Earth science, nature conservation and spatial analysis. Come and join our department.

Physical geographers and ecosystem analysts are specialists in the interaction between atmosphere, soil, water and life. Bachelor´s and Master´s programs offer opportunities to work with environmental and conservation issues in a global world in which the Earth´s resources need to be managed in a sustainable manner. Margareta Johansson deltar i Forskar Grand Prix

Margareta Johansson, who is a researcher at the department, has been nominated to participate in the national competition Forskar Grand Prix 2013. The competition aims to find the best researcher in Sweden when it comes to presenting her or his research in an clear and inspiring way. Margareta Johansson will present "The Arctic is melting - why should we care?". Keep your eyes open for more information here or on our Facebook page!
