Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation in Rwanda

The field of Geo-Information is rapidly growing around the world. Mapping and modelling our environment, and being able to forecast and plan the future is crucial for development.

Geo-Information Science as well as Remote Sensing play an increasingly important role for a sustainable environment, sound natural resources management, and socio-economic transformation in Rwanda as well as in the rest of the world. Also advanced skills in geomatics, the more technical aspects of Geo-Information, are a necessity for modern society.
