My research focuses on including methane biogeochemistry in the individual– and patch– based global dynamic vegetation model (LPJ-GUESS). The improved and updated model will later be employed to quantify the peatland-mediated feedbacks when coupled with a regional Earth System Model (RCA-GUESS). I am also interested in addressing research problems related to climate and biosphere interactions.
