Degree Project in Geographic Information Technology

EXTM05

The course is only for students at LTH, and mainly made for Surveying students with a focus on geographical information technology.

Course content

The degree project is an independent project, which you perform in project form. As a student, you choose a subject specialization in consultation with your supervisor. The subject orientation is usually done together with an external organization (company, municipality, authority, etc.) or as part of a research project conducted at the department. The student must solve a limited and well-defined task. Within the framework of the work, problems related to the current subject orientation and issue are dealt with. The work must also include a literature study.

Teaching method

The degree project is an independent project. You report in the form of a scientific report written in Swedish or English, in which case rules for international publication are applied. The degree project is also presented at an essay seminar with the opposition. Usually by a classmate.
