Daily carbon allocation for grasses within LPJ-GUESS

The dynamic global vegetation model LPJ-GUESS consists of processes simulated on a daily or annual time step (Smith et al., 2001). For example, photosynthesis is simulated as a daily process and carbon allocation between plant compartments as an annual process. However, to be able to study grass growth more in depth there was a need for daily carbon allocation. The changes made it possible to study the effects of cutting and grazing since there is with the daily allocation a possibility to simulate a regrowth immediately after each event.
