Patrik Vestin has received Alfortska prize of SEK 40,000 by the Swedish Society for Anthropology and Geography. The award is awarded for his dissertation entitled "Effects of forest management on greenhouse gas fluxes in a boreal forest".

– Of course, it's great fun and a great honor to get the SSAG Alfortska award for my dissertation which focuses on forestry's climate effects. The dissertation is based on very extensive field measurements and can hopefully contribute to more insights into how forests will be used to maximize its climate benefits, Patrik says.
