Markku Rummukainen has recently been featured in a number of media outlets because of unusually high temperatures in the Arctic. He was also recently mentioned in Effekt News Magazine because of his participation in the newly launched Swedish Climate Policy Council.

Markku Rummukainen, Professor at the Department, has been interviewed in several media after unusually high temperatures have been measured on the Arctic. Among the media outlets that reported the news are SVT NewsAftonbladetDagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet.

Markku is also mentioned in Effekt as a member of the Swedish Climate Policy Council, which recently released their first report. The Council was formed in January 2018 with the purpose of evaluating how consistent government policies are with its current climate objectives.
