Margareta Johansson deltar i Forskar Grand Prix

Margareta Johansson, who is a researcher at the department, has been nominated to participate in the national competition Forskar Grand Prix 2013. The competition aims to find the best researcher in Sweden when it comes to presenting her or his research in an clear and inspiring way. Margareta Johansson will present "The Arctic is melting - why should we care?". Keep your eyes open for more information here or on our Facebook page!

Low unemployment rate among former Physical Geography students

A report, recently published by our department, shows that a majority of those who completed their Bachelor´s or Master´s degree at the department have found employments which are relevant for their education.

"The absolute majority of the professionals are working as GIS [...] as a consultant, GIS Engineers, with map-engineering, with mapping and GIS coordinator, with systems for GIS, as production specialist and as wind energy planners."

Graduation cermony at Faculty of Science 9 June 2013

Every year the student union for science students arranges a graduation cermony for students who will shortly be completing their degrees. Last day to complete the registration is 31st of May.
