In July, Markku was featured in Swedish newspapers Sydsvenskan, Helsingborgs Dagblad and Aftonbladet, discussing climate change, and how global warming can be mitigated.
He was also interviewed about the environmental impact of air travel in Svenska Dagbladet the 4th of August. Markku stated: “It would be good to have a common framework and common rules concerning these emissions. The issue is currently being discussed in the international aviation and maritime bodies ICAO and IMO”.
