Dr. Michael Mischurow

I've been working as a researcher at the department between 2011 and 2017. Mostly contributing to developement of and using ecosystem model LPJ-GUESS in a variety of application. I've been involved in LUCCI research centre and MERGE strategic research area as well as research projects such as ExpeER and DESIRE. Additionally, I've been a member of European collaborative network ClimMani.

My major contribution to the LPJ-GUESS has been introduction of diurnal cycle formulation in canopy exchange module.

ExpeER modelling toolbox was one of the outcomes of that project that I've been responsible for.

For the conversion of standard LPJ-GUESS outputs to NetCDF format the following utility can be used: out2nc (documentation and download)
